Abstract
The real sector serves as the engine of economic growth, encompassing industries responsible for the production of goods and services. Its development largely depends on efficient financial intermediation by commercial banks. This study examines modern approaches to financing the real sector through commercial banks, with emphasis on innovative financial instruments, digital banking solutions, and risk management practices. The paper highlights how the adoption of fintech partnerships, credit guarantee schemes, and green financing mechanisms have expanded access to credit for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and industrial ventures. It also analyzes the regulatory frameworks that influence bank lending behavior and explores the role of financial inclusion policies in promoting sustainable development. Using both qualitative and quantitative data, the research identifies emerging trends such as digital lending platforms, asset securitization, and blockchain-enabled credit assessment as transformative tools in modern banking. The study concludes that the integration of technology, policy support, and innovative financial products is essential for strengthening the capacity of commercial banks to effectively finance the real sector, thereby fostering inclusive and resilient economic growth.
