Credit Facilities and their Implications for SME Growth: Evidence from Iraq

The present study investigates the influence of credit facilities obtained from the National Bank of Iraq- Bagdad Branch on the development of SMEs, covering 2020–2025. It is an analytical study of the effect of credit facilities on sales, profits and the number of employees as indicators of financial and operational growth in these companies using a descriptive-analytical approach based on actual financial data obtained from the bank's records and reports issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Commerce.
