Abstract

Tourism is a key driver of economic growth and social development globally, offering employment, income generation, and cultural exchange opportunities. In Uzbekistan, tourism is strategically prioritized, with entrepreneurship seen as a catalyst for improving service quality, attracting investment, and promoting cultural heritage. Despite government support, there is insufficient comprehensive analysis on the socio-economic effects of entrepreneurial activity in the tourism sector and its role in regional development and innovation. This study aims to explore the role of entrepreneurial activity in the tourism sector and assess its economic, social, and innovative impacts within Uzbekistan. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship enhances tourism through innovation, competitiveness, investment mobilization, and cultural preservation. It also contributes to reducing regional disparities and fostering public-private partnerships. The research offers an integrated perspective on how entrepreneurship in tourism influences diverse development domains simultaneously economic expansion, social inclusion, and cultural sustainability. Strengthening entrepreneurial initiatives in tourism, especially through digital technologies and policy incentives, can significantly enhance regional equity and long-term national economic competitiveness.
