Abstract

The tourism services sector in the global economy is considered one of the key industries that has a significant impact on a country's socio-economic development. The rapid growth of the sector influences other sectors of the economy and contributes to the acceleration of macroeconomic indicators. In this regard, in Uzbekistan, great attention is being paid to the development of the tourism services sector, strengthening opportunities for creating new jobs through the provision of skilled personnel, and improving competitiveness. The author of this article analyzes the utilization of skilled personnel in Uzbekistan's tourism sector and examines the quality of tourist services. The tourism sector is a crucial industry in the global economy, significantly impacting the socio-economic development of a country, and its development significantly affects the growth rates of other economic sectors and macroeconomic indicators. In countries with rapidly developing tourism industries, the sector contributes greatly to job creation and the enhancement of economic activity. Uzbekistan’s tourism sector also holds similar potential, and particular focus is placed on improving competitiveness and the supply of skilled personnel. This article discusses the provision of skilled personnel in Uzbekistan’s tourism sector, the improvement of tourist service quality, and the contribution of these processes to economic growth. The article provides detailed information on the measures being implemented to improve staff qualifications, monitor the quality of tourism services, and enhance the sector's competitiveness. The current state of the tourism sector in Uzbekistan, future development prospects, existing problems, and recommendations for solving them are also discussed. The article aims to study the role of the tourism sector in the national economy and the policies being implemented to enhance its competitiveness.
