Abstract

This study examines the mechanisms for sustainable development of small business entities in the service sector in the context of innovative development, increasing resource potential and achieving economic efficiency. The study analyzes the dynamics of the development of the service sector in the Samarkand region, the number of small enterprises, the status of their activity and liquidation. The results show that the number of small business entities registered in the service sector in the region is growing faster than in other sectors of the economy, but the number of liquidated and non-operating enterprises has also increased significantly. The results of the study allow us to formulate recommendations on effective support for the activities of small businesses based on regional programs and state policy, and increasing competitiveness through the introduction of innovative and high-tech services.
