Abstract
The Role of Innovation Processes in Improving the Economic Efficiency and Sustainable Competition of Production Metallurgical Enterprises in Uzbekistan. The purpose of this paper is to analyze technological modernization, digital transformation, and the introduction of green innovations for the period 2020–2024 by the example of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine (NMMC). The methodology framework includes a mixed-methods of integrated static-dynamic-comparative analysis of production and operational parameters by means of official statistical data and corporate reports. The outcomes show that gold production, ore mining and ore processing have maintained positive growth rates, fully reflecting the effectiveness of innovation-driven development in promoting productivity growth and resource utilization efficiency. Further, the use of energy conservation and eco-friendly technologies helped in reducing cost and enhancing environmental sustainability. The conclusion presents a systematic nature of innovation processes as one of the main factors of sustainable industrial growth, economic efficiency, and competitiveness of metallurgical enterprises both globally and in Uzbekistan.
