Abstract
Uzbekistan has a great potential for development of foreign relations, foreign trade, import and export in the Asian region. This country is active in promoting fair legislation, preferential tax and customs privileges, the existing workforce, the size of the youth in a demographic environment, currency reform, newly established foreign universities, modern infrastructure, as well as wide access to foreign trade and investment by the President and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The expansion of regional transit opportunities is important during the policy period. The current goal of writing the article is to study domestic and international transport opportunities in Uzbekistan, to analyze problems, and to provide adequate solutions. To this end, the task is to give detailed information on the potential of Uzbekistan and India in the field of international transport, the scope of work and, most importantly, the existing, under construction and projected transit corridors linking the two countries, several close links between India and Uzbekistan, as well as showing the internal and external factors that impede transit improvement along the route Tashkent-Herat-Chahbakhor-Mumbai, to present the necessary proposals for their elimination, to inform on the ongoing projects in the development of transit routes between the two countries from the beginning of cooperation. The prospects of the two countries' railways in all directions, connecting Uzbekistan and India, are clearly indicated by the figures and forecasts.
