Abstract

The article is devoted to the theoretical problems of cognitive stylistics as an intensively developing interdisciplinary field of modern linguistics. The author focuses on such topical issues as the relationship between cognitive and traditional aspects of stylistics, the basics of formation and key theoretical positions of cognitive stylistics.
