Samarqand's Tourism Potential: Strengthening Nostalgic Tourism Directions Based on International Experience

This article explores the potential for strengthening the role of nostalgic tourism in Samarkand by analyzing international research conducted by foreign scholars in this field. The study examines various methodologies applied in the analysis of nostalgic tourism, including qualitative and quantitative approaches such as surveys, content analysis, and case studies. The findings from these studies highlight the importance of emotional and cultural connections in shaping travel motivations. Based on the results of this review, the article proposes practical recommendations for the development of nostalgic tourism in Samarkand, including the creation of specialized tourism packages, enhancement of cultural heritage routes, and the integration of diaspora-focused initiatives.
