This study investigates the semantic features of the Karakalpak language in the works of Qazi Maulik, focusing on the stylistic and lexical aspects of synonymy and antonymy. The research identifies a gap in understanding how these linguistic tools enhance the expressiveness of the language. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study analyzes the function of synonymic and antonymic pairs in the poet's works, drawing on lexicological and stylistic analyses. The findings reveal that Qazi Maulik skillfully uses both synonyms and antonyms to intensify the emotional impact of his poetry, often drawing from Arabic-Persian vocabulary to create nuanced and context-dependent meanings. The poet’s adept use of contextual synonyms and antonyms strengthens the thematic depth and aesthetic qualities of his works. The results highlight the role of these linguistic features in shaping the aesthetic function of language, contributing to the expressiveness of the Karakalpak literary tradition. The study suggests further exploration into the intersection of stylistic and lexical components in other regional literatures, particularly in the context of evolving semantic structures.
