Abstract
This article discusses the methodology for effectively organizing a lecture session on oil and gas reserve estimation. The paper substantiates the importance of applying the principles of scientificity, consistency, visualization, problem-based instruction, and practical orientation in delivering a lecture on this topic. It is shown that the use of interactive methods, visual materials, and numerical estimation examples during the lecture enhances students’ comprehension of the subject matter. The findings can be applied to improve the methodological effectiveness of lecture sessions in oil and gas education.
