Abstract
This study aims to assess the effect of digital knowledge managing on the improvement of quality higher education at Thi-Qar University, the study focusses on the evaluation of how faculty members use the available digital resources and their efficiency in the enhancement of educational procedure. The study employed descriptive- analytic procedure to collect data from primary sources, as well as to test the projected hypotheses and set out to answer the questions raised.
The study participants engaged are the faculty members at Thi-Qar University. A numerical questionnaire was issued to them through Google Drive and the researcher was able to collect (66) responses. The data was analysed through the use of SPSS numerical analysis employing the Likert scale to assess the responses, the main focus was on the mean, standard deviation to calculate the mass average to infer the level of expected understandings.
The research findings indicated that the level of digital knowledge production among the faculty members was much less according to the finding where the mean is (2.13) and a standard deviation (0.6). This shows a minimal support was provided and inadequate incentives with regards to the digital publishing. The results also displayed an obvious gap between the presence of professors and students to apply them efficiently, in addition to the limited usage of the available digital infrastructure and training.
