Abstract
This paper analyzes the socio-economic aspects of regional tourism development in Uzbekistan and proposes ways to enhance it. In recent years, the Uzbek government has placed significant emphasis on developing the tourism sector, recognizing its potential as a vital contributor to the national economy. The study examines the social and economic benefits derived from tourism at the regional level, including job creation and the improvement of local infrastructure.
The paper emphasizes the importance of community involvement and the increased participation of local populations in supporting tourism initiatives. Innovative practices centered on regional diversification and the efficient utilization of local resources are explored. Additionally, the paper analyzes the opportunities for enhancing tourism services through the use of modern technologies and digital tools.
One of the key points highlighted is the necessity of collaboration between the government and the private sector. The study's findings can inform the implementation of strategies aimed at advancing tourism development in Uzbekistan and promoting the country as an international tourist destination.
