Specific Features of the Development of the Mining Industry in Uzbekistan

This article examines the current state and specific features of the development of the mining industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main aspects of the industry’s modern transformation are analyzed, including institutional reforms, improvements in the regulatory framework, and partial privatization aimed at attracting domestic and foreign investors. Particular attention is paid to state regulation of subsoil use, transparency of geological data, and investment activity in the mining sector.
