Abstract

This study is aimed at exploring directions for improving vocational education and training (VET) services through the integration of digital technologies within the vocational education system. The digital transformation of vocational education institutions aimed at improving the learning process and the efficiency of the institution in the conditions of industry 4.0 poses the challenge of combining scientific research expertise with practical developments and implementing feedback from the real sector of economy into scientific developments. The scope of the research included e-learning platforms, simulation-based learning tools and digital management systems. Furthermore, aspects related to the contribution of innovative management practices, cooperation among teachers, and the establishment of a strategic vision by institutional leadership were treated as critical elements for a successful digital transformation. The study concludes that infusion of digital technology is driving the enhancement of classroom instruction, innovation in teaching-learning practices, and a culture of collaboration. Lastly, the study offers suggestions for policymakers and educational decision makers for successfully assimilating digital solutions to ensure that vocational education continues to meet the changing needs of the contemporary labor market.
