Abstract
This scientific article analyzes the development trends in financing the communication sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as their economic content and institutional characteristics. The study examines, from the perspective of financial support, the rapid development of the digital economy in recent years, the modernization of telecommunications infrastructure, the expansion of fiber-optic networks, and the development of mobile communication and broadband internet services. The role of commercial bank loans, project financing mechanisms, public-private partnership (PPP) investments, and foreign capital inflows in the development of the communication sector is also assessed. Based on the analysis, the diversification of financing sources, the increasing need for long-term investment resources, and the improvement of risk management systems are identified as key development trends. The article develops scientifically grounded proposals aimed at ensuring the sustainability of financing in the communication sector, strengthening cooperation between the banking system and the real sector, and supporting digital transformation
