Abstract

This article examines the comparative analysis of the industrial systems of Bukhara region and Germany’s Rheinische Revier region, focusing on structural composition, resource dependency, innovation development, and transformation strategies. The study demonstrates that regions heavily dependent on natural resources require diversification and innovation-driven transformation to ensure long-term sustainability. The findings reveal that Rheinische Revier has successfully transitioned toward a post-industrial model through green economy and technological innovation, while Bukhara region remains largely resource-based. Based on comparative analysis, strategic recommendations for industrial modernization and diversification in Bukhara region are proposed.
