Abstract
This article analyzes the processes of regional economic development and the impact of digital technologies on economic efficiency in the context of digital transformation. The study examines the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT), Internet infrastructure, digital public services, and IT services exports on the regional economy. Based on empirical analysis, the relationship between the level of digitalization and economic growth was assessed using a multivariate regression model. The results show that digital transformation accelerates regional economic development by reducing transaction costs, increasing labor productivity, expanding market size, and creating new jobs. At the same time, it was found that differences in the development of digital infrastructure and human capital between regions have a negative impact on economic efficiency. The article develops scientific and practical recommendations for improving digital policy, expanding regional digital infrastructure, and developing an innovative environment.
