Abstract

The business travel sector is rapidly transforming through digital marketing strategies that respond to growing traveler expectations. This study explores how targeted initiatives—spanning personalized email campaigns, social media, SEO, and data analytics—are reshaping competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Using methods such as literature review, market analysis, comparison of traditional vs digital marketing methods, and secondary data analysis from industry reports (GBTA, Statista, CWT, Phocuswright), the research indicates greater investment in mobile-friendly platforms, AI-powered personalization, and real-time analytics by leading providers. It found that these technologies improve traveler satisfaction, increase brand loyalty, and allow data-led decision making. However, challenges persist in the form of disjointed marketing campaigns, challenges in measuring ROI and sustainability issues. Therefore, it is essential to incorporate ethical data usage and transparent privacy practices. In the end, the corporate travel and event planners who master digital marketing are the ones who will be able to provide amazing seamless, efficient and personalized corporate travel. With transformation in full swing, it is early adopters in harnessing new age-tools who are set to define a more responsive and customer-friendly future.
