Abstract
This article describes the essence of the concept of creative thinking, its structural components and its place in the educational process based on scientific and theoretical analysis. The author compares the concepts of creativity, creative thinking and innovative thinking, and reveals their differences and common aspects. Also, the article describes the cognitive, emotional, volitional and moral factors that form creative thinking, and the scientific and practical basis of developing this ability in the educational process.
