Abstract

The article examines the main themes and motives of the work of Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov, such as the struggle between good and evil, love, the search for truth, personal freedom, mysticism and the interaction of worlds. Particular attention is paid to the symbolism of color as an expressive means that helps to reveal the inner world of the characters and the deep philosophical aspects of the writer’s works. Bulgakov's color palette performs an important function, emphasizing the contrast between light and darkness, good and evil, passion and spirituality. The article analyzes how the colors black, white, red and green are used to create atmosphere and convey the emotions of characters, as well as to emphasize the central themes of the works.
