Abstract
The current situation around the world has accelerated the process of digitalization in all areas of activity, including education. Computer and e -learning with the involvement of mobile devices is an integral part of the learning process. The purpose of the article is to determine the methodological capabilities of mobile applications for teaching a foreign language especially German in higher education.
