Abstract
This article investigates the linguistic and cultural issues involved in translating metaphors between German and Uzbek. By exploring metaphor theory, cognitive and cultural differences, and translation strategies, it offers a comprehensive view of how metaphorical meaning is interpreted and adapted across languages. The study uses comparative analysis of real-world texts to reveal the limitations of literal translation and the importance of cultural context.
