Abstract

The paper also makes a conceptual framework of developing strategic misalignment to the sustainable strategic alignment through internal flexibility and external collaboration. The study has adopted a theory-building strategy that is based on resource-based view (RBV), dynamic capabilities theory and contingency theory, with identification and incorporation of core constructs into organizational flexibility, strategic partnerships and alignment outcome. As proposed in this framework, strategic gaps can nevertheless be filled by means of dynamic re- buildings of internal settings and active cooperation with other firms to complement their talents. This synergistic mechanism helps organizations to cope up with the dynamics of turbulent environments and remain competitively powerful. This model enables the alignment theory through the incorporation of the adaptability and inter-organizational collaboration mediators with practical tips to the firms searching resilient execution of their strategies.
