Abstract
This study explores the role of folk pedagogy in shaping personality, emphasizing how cultural heritage and traditional practices contribute to individual development. Addressing the gap between modern pedagogical science and the enduring relevance of folk knowledge, this research employs a qualitative analysis of cultural practices in Karakalpakstan. Findings demonstrate that folk pedagogy—encompassing oral traditions, family education, and communal values—effectively instills moral, social, and practical skills that formal education often overlooks. The results highlight the practicality, continuity, and emotional resonance of these methods, underscoring their significance for fostering well-rounded development. The study suggests that integrating folk pedagogical approaches with modern education can enhance cultural appreciation and identity formation in learners.
