Abstract
In the lexicography, somatic phraseological phrases are meant as phrases where bodily terms and expressions are used. This research is to initiate the role of somatic phrases within the academy of lexicography and investigate the application of somatic phrases in different linguistic surroundings. The research looks at the cultural and contextual importance of somatic phraseological phrases and learns how these phrases influence language and communication as a whole. This study brings some contributions to the broader field of lexicography and linguistic studies through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Somatic phraseological phrase has a role reflection of cultural and social aspects of language usage. Given this richness and diversity, the ingestion of these phrases into lexicography needs to be understood. Moreover, the study of somatic phrases in a number of linguistic contexts allows one to learn more about what bodily terms are used to refer to and express meanings and feelings. Ultimately, this research tries to shed light into the complicated link between somatic phraseological phrases and the general linguistic milieu. In addition, this study takes a multidimensional approach of quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to provide a detailed and comprehensive understanding of ‘somadicity’ in lexicography. This research, it hopes, will contribute to a fuller comprehension of how language and communication work. This thesis explores the complex relationship between language and the human body, specifically about the role of somatic phraseological phrases in lexicography and the cultural and social meanings of communication. This research investigates how bodily terms are incorporated into language and how it affects the linguistic contexts. This research investigates the varied application of somatic phrases and is intended to make a contribution towards broader studying condition within the sphere of lexicography, linguistic studies and translation studies. Second, this exploration will also provide us with a comprehensive understanding of the richness and diversity of communication, as well as of the many and varied dimensions of language itself. The integration of somatic phraseological phrases in lexicography is a promising window through which to view the indivisibility of language and its relationship to the human experience. Since language is related closely with the culture and society, the presence of the bodily words within the linguistic expressions points to a tapestry of meaning and connotation which demonstrates the complicated dynamics of the human interaction. This study will explore the fine points and aesthetic potential of somatic phraseological phrases, as they help us imagine and experience life. This research attempts to unravel the complexities of communication by understanding how somatic phrases work in a series of fairly diverse linguistic contexts which either convey bodily dimensions of emotions, experiences, and socially important values. This study strives to offer, by means of an interdisciplinary approach of blending qualitative and quantitative analyses, a total view of somatic phraseological phrases in lexicography and also throw in the light on the joined behaviour between language, culture and--the human body.
