The Role of Diplomacy and International Cooperation In Maintaining Peace and Security

This paper will discuss the strategic significance of peace and security to the state and the international community looking at peace not only as the absence of war but as a complicated process that involves justice, human rights and social harmony. It also underscores the efforts of international organizations like the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the European Union, and NATO and the Uzbekistan role in the international and regional cooperation. In addition, the paper examines the importance of international cooperation in maintaining stability and also playing a role in the economic and humanitarian growth, with some practical examples of the application of the concept and strategic efforts of Uzbekistan in enhancing the stability and peace.
