The Proportionality of Discourse and Intuition in Central Asian Philosophical Epistemology

This article analyzes the complex relationship between two fundamental pillars of cognition in the Central Asian philosophical tradition: rational-logical reasoning (discourse) and immediate inner apprehension (intuition). The study compares the deductive method of the peripatetic school with the intuitive perspectives of illuminationism and sufism. The article substantiates the epistemological unity of the concepts of “intellect” (aql) and “heart” (qalb) within the context of contemporary cognitive sciences.
