Moreover, the results show that empowering leadership has a direct impact on the organizational sustainability and it also acts as a mediator in the connection between sustainable human resource management and organizational sustainability, but partially. Therefore, sustainable policies in human resource management require leadership which can empower workers to enhance their growth and eliminate any barriers to attain the best results.
The scientific value of the current study lies on its attempt to fill a research gap that has been identified in the current body of knowledge on the subject nexus between sustainable human resource management and empowering leadership in Arab-based settings, a topic that has minimal coverage in extant literature. In practice, the research provides practical guidance to organisations in terms of sustainable human resource management practices and ensuring the mobilisation of empowering leadership as an instrument of enhancing organisational sustainability.
