Abstract

This paper examines the existing problems in the system of financing the agricultural sector by commercial banks. The agricultural sector plays a crucial role in ensuring food security and sustainable economic development; however, its financing remains limited due to a number of structural and institutional challenges. These problems include high credit risks, seasonal production cycles, insufficient collateral, low profitability, and limited access to long-term financial resources. In addition, weaknesses in financial infrastructure and the lack of specialized banking products for agriculture further constrain effective lending. The study analyzes these issues and highlights the need for improving credit mechanisms, enhancing state support, and developing innovative financial instruments to increase the accessibility and efficiency of agricultural financing.
