Ensuring Food Security Through the Development of Small Business and Entrepreneurship

This article examines the role of small business and entrepreneurship in ensuring food security. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of food security and explores the contribution of small enterprises to agricultural production, food processing, and food distribution systems. Particular attention is given to the importance of entrepreneurial activity in increasing agricultural productivity, improving food supply chains, and strengthening local food markets. The research is based on statistical data related to the development of the agricultural sector and the participation of small businesses in food production. The findings indicate that small enterprises play a significant role in increasing food availability and ensuring the stability of food supply systems. Furthermore, government support policies, financial assistance programs, and institutional reforms aimed at promoting entrepreneurial activity significantly contribute to improving the efficiency of small businesses in the agricultural sector. The study concludes that strengthening small business development is an important mechanism for enhancing national food security and achieving sustainable economic development.
