Abstract
This study analyzes the economic essence of the efficiency of commercial banks’ activities, as well as the main theoretical and practical approaches to its assessment. In particular, the criteria for determining the efficiency of commercial banks’ activities, assessment methods, and internal and external factors affecting efficiency are scientifically examined. In addition, the study highlights opportunities to improve efficiency through effective organization of banking activities, ensuring financial stability, improving the risk management system, and introducing modern digital technologies. The results of the study contribute to improving the assessment system of commercial banks’ activities, increasing their economic efficiency and competitiveness.
