Profitability, Liquidity, and Solvency: Key Drivers of Share Prices in the Agro-Industry

This study examines the influence of profitability, liquidity, and solvency ratios on the share prices of agro-industry companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. Despite extensive research on financial ratios and stock performance, limited studies focus specifically on the agro-industry sector in Indonesia. Addressing this gap, the study aims to evaluate how these financial indicators affect share prices. A purposive sampling method selected 21 out of 31 consistently listed agro-industry companies. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the findings indicate that profitability, liquidity, and solvency ratios positively and significantly impact share prices. These results emphasize the critical role of financial performance in shaping investor perceptions and investment decisions, offering strategic insights for corporate management and stakeholders in the agro-industry sector.
