Improving the Financing Mechanisms of the Forestry Sector

This article presents opinions on the theoretical and legal foundations and the economic importance of financing forestry in Uzbekistan. It also provides analyses on the issues of further development of the country's forestry sector in recent years, expansion of forest areas, ensuring the complete and rational use of the rich potential of forest resources, increasing the efficiency of land use in the forest fund, introducing advanced scientific and technological achievements in the sector, sustainable economic development of forestry, active attraction of foreign investment, and the development of ecotourism. Based on the study of government decisions adopted in the process of managing the existing forestry system in the republic, important recommendations are given.
