Conceptual Foundations and Prospects for the Development of the Domestic Service Sector (on the Example of the Samarkand Region)

This article studies the role and importance of the service sector, in particular, household services, in regional development in the context of the modernization of the economy of Uzbekistan. The article scientifically and theoretically substantiates the socio-economic essence of the household services sector, its role in improving the quality of life of the population and ensuring employment. Using the example of the Samarkand region, a systematic analysis of the current state of the sector, development trends and existing problems (territorial imbalance, infrastructure, skills issues) is carried out. Based on the analysis, scientifically based proposals and recommendations have been developed on the organization of modern service clusters in the region, the introduction of digital platforms and the improvement of public-private partnership mechanisms.
