Abstract

Motor dysfunction and a number of comorbidities are symptoms of cerebral palsy (CP), a complicated neurological illness brought on by non-progressive brain damage or aberrant brain development. About 30 to 50 percent of children with cerebral palsy have symptomatic epilepsy, one of the most difficult side effects of the disorder. Since epilepsy considerably impairs motor, cognitive, and behavioral outcomes in children with cerebral palsy, managing it is an essential part of patient treatment.
