Abstract

Relevance of the problem: Diseases of the temporomandibular joint are one of the most urgent problems of modern dentistry. This is due, on the one hand, to the frequency of occurrence of pathology of the temporomandibular joint, and on the other hand, to the complexity of diagnosis. The largest group of patients with damage to the temporomandibular joint are patients with internal disorders, which are defined as a violation of the anatomical and functional relationships between the components of the joint (articular disc, intraarticular ligaments, mandibular head, capsule) and account for more than 80% of patients with this pathology at a specialized appointment. The aim of the study is to improve the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment of patients with TMJ diseases. Materials and methods.
