Abstract
The article provides detailed information based on the results of scientific research on methods for determining the degree of wool fraying. The degree of fraying plays an important role when cleaning wool. The level of wool fraying is one of the main factors determining the effectiveness of the cleaning process. To determine this indicator, a cylindrical container was used. The density of wool in 1 m3 of volume is determined depending on its mass. The results obtained are presented in tables.
