Abstract

The purpose of this laboratory study was to examine the compressive strengths of fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) and nominal mix concrete (NMC) for M30 grade concrete. The NMC cubes used in this investigation were made by adding fly ash to 20% and 30% of the cement's weight. In addition, steel and glass fiber were added to the NMC combination to create the FRC mix. In the experimental investigation, 84 cubes are constructed, 36 of which are made of SFRC and 36 of which are made of GFRC, with varying amounts of fiber. Of the 36 SFRC cubes, Twelve cubes of NMC, six cubes with 20% fly ash and six cubes with 30% fly ash were cast, together with 18 cubes with 20% and 18 cubes with 30% fly ash. For each fiber ratio, the compressive strength is determined by averaging the strengths of three cubes cast. In this comparison study, these blends were tested for toughened properties such as compressive strength. After 7 and 28 days of curing, the compressive strength was evaluated on gy's scientific committee is in charge of selection and peer review.
