Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become established as a fundamental technology which will determine the course of the 21st century. The technology of AI exists as a distinct innovation from previous developments which restricted human abilities because it enables machines to operate at intelligence levels which match or surpass human capabilities. The paper presents the core components of artificial intelligence which include machine learning deep learning natural language processing and computer vision. It assesses their effects across various fields which include medicine finance production and transport. The use of AI in different fields demonstrates its presence through examples such as AlphaGo and ChatGPT and predictive analytics for online shopping. The study examines three ethical problems which include bias and employment disruption and privacy while it also investigates three technological advancements which include explainable AI and regulation framework and quantum computing. The study demonstrates that AI functions as a disruptive technology which transforms human abilities into a complete system of advancement.
