Abstract

This article presents scientific research on the use of microsilica powder to reduce Portland cement consumption in the construction of cement concrete pavement roads. This approach improves the physical and mechanical properties of the pavement – elasticity, strength grade and class, and frost resistance – while extending its service life. In addition, technologies for improving temperature and deformation joints have been developed. The research results demonstrate a reduction in the cost of concrete mixtures, strengthening of the interaction between raw material components, as well as comprehensive measures and technologies to eliminate problems occurring in pavements.
