A Political Examination of Samuel Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations" Theory

The end of the Cold War and the emergence of new types of warfare and conflicts in many regions of the globe have made it crucial for academics and governments to understand the underlying dynamics of the developing global order. Numerous academics from all around the globe have attempted to provide theoretical explanations for the new global order. Already mentioned is Samuel Huntington, whose 'clash of civilizations' idea is one of the most well-known efforts to explain the developing international order. The theory was initially published in 1993. This study takes a political look at the "Clash of Civilizations" theory proposed by Samuel Huntington.
