Abstract
The article examines the prospects for improving the legal regulation of the use and protection of forest fund lands in the Republic of Uzbekistan under increasing environmental and climate challenges. The study analyzes the current forest and land legislation, identifying problems of law enforcement, institutional coordination, and digital forest management. Special attention is paid to forest restoration, protection of protective forests, economic instruments, and modern monitoring technologies. The author substantiates the need for comprehensive legal reforms aimed at ensuring sustainable forest management, strengthening environmental security, and preserving the ecosystem functions of forest lands.
