Abstract
In this article, we explore translation as a cognitive phenomenon, emphasizing the mental processes that drive the transformation of meaning across languages. We aim to examine the cognitive frameworks that inform translation practices, shed light on the challenges faced by translators, and discuss how advancements in cognitive science can enhance our understanding of translation. By situating translation within a cognitive framework, this study seeks to contribute to the broader discourse on the intersection of language, thought, and human cognition.
