Abstract
The concept of "family" is universal in nature and possesses national and cultural characteristics that vary depending on the social structure of ethnic groups. This study reveals the national-cultural aspects of the concept of "family" as represented by phraseological units, employing a comparative-contrastive method. The findings obtained are of particular significance for research aimed at elucidating the processes of linguistic conceptualization and categorization of existing phenomena.
