Abstract
This paper presents a comparative analysis of complex subordinate sentences in English and Uzbek, based on the literary works of Ernest Hemingway and Said Ahmad. The study explores the syntactic structures, functional roles, and semantic nuances of subordinate clauses in both languages. By analyzing selected texts, the research identifies similarities and differences in the use and formation of subordinate constructions, contributing to a better understanding of cross-linguistic syntactic typology and translation studies.
