Abstract
Reflective teaching has become one of the key components of modern language pedagogy, enabling EFL teachers to critically examine their instructional practices and continuously improve their professional competence. This study explores the role of reflective teaching in enhancing pedagogical knowledge, classroom management skills, and learner-centered instruction among EFL instructors. The research is based on qualitative analysis of current theoretical frameworks and empirical studies in the field of teacher development. Findings suggest that systematic reflection fosters self-awareness, strengthens decision-making, and promotes sustainable professional growth. The study concludes that reflective teaching is an essential mechanism for improving EFL teachers’ professional competence in contemporary educational settings.
