Abstract
The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the use of differentiated tasks in primary school native language literacy classes, their design criteria, and practical application technology. Tasks designed taking into account the individual capabilities, level of knowledge, and needs of students are justified as an effective tool for developing literacy competencies.
