Abstract

Government welfare policies are changing as a result of the youth population's increasing demographic significance in both developed and developing nations. The importance of adolescents in the planning, execution, and socio-political concerns of government assistance programs is examined in this essay. As society, we face the challenges of vulnerability, digital inequality, employment, and education. In addition to their demographic importance, young people are the most active forces behind social change and the advancement of the country. The government ought to acknowledge their capacity to propel social innovation, economic expansion, and demographic engagement for the advancement of the country. The present study focuses on how government take initiatives towards youth development and also availability of government programmes/policies, awareness level among youth and identify barriers and challenges faced by youth in benefiting from government welfare programmes. This sociological perspective emphasizes a paradigm shift from welfare for youth to welfare with youth. Provide suggestion which help for governance to framework policies ensuring future-oriented socio-economic development.
