Socio-Pedagogical Conditions for Developing Song Performance Skills among Students in Higher Education Institutions

The cultivation of song performance skills among students in higher education is a multidimensional pedagogical process that encompasses technical training, cultural literacy, and personal artistic expression. This study investigates the socio-pedagogical conditions necessary for effective development of these skills, with particular attention to the context of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and relevant international practices. Drawing on qualitative pedagogical research, literature review, curriculum analysis, and expert interviews, five core socio-pedagogical conditions are identified: adequate infrastructure, integrated curriculum, cultural and linguistic contextualization, psychological support systems, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The findings indicate that these factors not only influence technical mastery but also foster artistic identity, stage confidence, and cultural awareness. The paper concludes with recommendations for enhancing music pedagogy in higher education to meet contemporary educational and cultural demands.
